I was living in FL. I had just moved back there and didn't remember that the

insurance only pays 80% unless you pay for special coverage. I didn't. We

both got screwed it seems

I would have gotten the maximum award.

Phooey!!!!!!

I just wish Co went back to no fault. I had PIP coverage so my

insurance company has covered everything. Now there are stories in

the paper where people have to sue to get the other drivers insurance

company to pay their medical bills.

Sorry to hear about everything you've been through.

Yes, today that's probably what would have been done, depending on what hospital you went to, but, at that time, the CT hadn't even been invented.

Re: Re: New Member/Introduction

Hi, , An MRI would show if any damage remains. I had my first concussion at age 13 (feel backward on ice while skating). There have been four more since then. My MRI shows "slight" damage to the outer edges of the brain in six locations and the brain stem is "slanted" so that the brain is way off center. Nobody really said anything about the Pituitary gland, but it could been seen in the films. Dianne
