Guest guest
, Mine was locked up for many years and the judge refused to order visits. You would be surprised on the fact that they really dislike the thought of kids going there. Especially if that person is a threat. But then with my luck the judge will order me to take my 8 year old to meet her bio dad and spend time with him at the pen. :-( --- loveitingh wrote: > , > I tease about his cushy job in an air > conditioned office. Guest guest
My two miracles (they are miracles at least to me) When Clarissa was 6 months old she was very ill she had just gotten over meningitis and was admitted to the ICU for Breathing problems. For days I laid there in her room and cried. How could this happen to me ID ask what did I do wrong. After a week I said I couldnt take it anymore I left I had 2 other kids and had not seen them this whole time. When Clarissa would breath her whole body would move it was sad.My Dh was up there and the nurse told him she was giving up and that there wasnt much they could do for her anymore. Well I was a bad mom this day. I refused to go back there that night I thought why she isnt ever coming home.(selfish i know) anyway we had just moved and had no phone so the Hospital gave us a pager. I woke to it the next am i hadnt slept alot in the week before so I was startled once I figured out it was the pager I was terrified to call. thinking the worst thinking I had just given up the last hours to spend with my baby. I called and the nurse said get here its amazing shes playing shes ok shes breathing very well shes smiling and I remember the smiling part so clear as day. To know Clarissa was awake and smiling was a shock to the system. She was released a week later. When she was 2 her sinuses were bad. They had tried everything they said the last hope before surgery was a medicene called clindomyocin (SP) I agreed well they gave her the liquid and shed vomit it immediatly so they tried the caps. Wed open them and pour the powder in there into baby fruit and shed eat it. UP it came. They decided to forget the meds. That night we went to a bar my dad shot darts for to get some papers he needed me to type up. There was this lady old lady very odd lady and she came over and said is this the sick little girl. I said she has had a rough life but the sinus problems she has now dont make her sick compared to what shes been through. This lady touched her head and said she will be ok . Two days later Clarissa was playing in her room She sneezed I yelled Bless you as she screamed in terror I ran thinking it was a sneeze whats scary about that. I walked into her room to find her covered in the nastist looking smelling snot. I called the dr and he did one last cat scan and to this day her sinuses are ok. She gets infections and they clear up with normal meds. I believe in my heart that old lady was an angel. Noone knows who she was and since I am a believer and collecter of angels I will always believe this. -30 DH- Rick Sr.- 30 DS- Ricky- 11 DD- Brittany-10 DD- Clarissa-9 FD- le - 5 Re: Dorene Dorene, I know exactly what you mean about God providing. After my divorce I was staying with friends and their 16 year old foster son and I were the only two home. He wanted me to come listen to the engine of his car that he'd been working so hard on. He put the hood up, we were standing in front of the car. He walked around, got in and went to start it....right at that second I stepped away from the front of the car, off to the side. The car had no neutral safety switch (didn't even know there was such a thing until then) and the car ran down the back wall of the garage. My mom and dad were on their way to Rochester, MN to the Mayo Clinic for surgery on my mom's kidneys. She's diabetic and in Albert Lea, MN my Mom lost consciousness. Now, not to dis my parents or anything, but they are small town people and haven't been out of town much, lol. I totally believe that God's angel drove my dad's van to the hospital. I KNOW that with his unconcious wife in the van that there was no way he had the ability to find that hospital. I also had a near miss with a train, the crossing lights never lit up...I had all three of my kids in the vehicle with me...if I had been driving a few mph slower or if the train was going a little faster I wouldn't be here writing this. Isn't it wonderful to know that He is always in control? --- loveitingh wrote: > Donna, > We have had so many miracles in our lives. All > four of our > children have been close to death.
