Dorene,

I love that your church shares with other churches what God is doing, that

is exactly how our church is, in fact we have Pastors from as far as Belgium,

Africa and all over get in touch with our church for our Pastors to go there

and share. It is a blessing!

Lighthouse Festival sound too cool, I have never been around one myself but

I think it sounds like so much fun!

As far as your books...I enjoy them!

I know exactly what you mean. If that kind of money

just happened to arrive and Dr. L had an opening, I'd

walk there! (ok, maybe for a ways, then I'd

hitchhike!) lol

I got an unexpected commissions check today for $130

so half is going to help pay for our trip this weekend

to see the Twins play baseball (my first pro game!)

and half toward DH's new wedding ring that he has no

clue I'm making payments on....after that gets paid

off (Sept) I'll put more towards the TR. Right now

I'm just putting in change, my survey checks, etc, but

it's growing faster than I had expected.

Dorene,

Sounds good. I've been thinking about investing a

couple hundred bucks and going to some garage sales

and seeing what good buys I can get, then putting the

items up for sale on e-bay and seeing if I can make

enough that it's worth my time. Now I just have to

find time to do it and it doesn't look like that's

gonna happen very soon. 's already in

(seasonally) wrestling, soccer, swim team and

gymnastics and wanting to do piano lessons, play

football (!!!) and basketball! She wears me out just

watching her!

Peanut butter cures what ale's ya! I swear by the stuff, anytime I have ever

felt nausea in my life a spoonful of peanut butter and I am ok again. Since My

sugar is fried again at the moment I use it as my stabilizer.

16 years ago while going to school full time I had a kidney

infection serious enough to land me in the hospital on an IV for a

week. After that the irritable bowel and hypoglocemia started in.

Also the chronic fatique and later after my parents died

fibromyagia. My immune system has never been quite normal. I had

shingles when I was 16 and the Dr. told me then that my immune system

must not have been working right for me to get them at my age.

I do have a gloucose monitor but have not been using it. I read an

article in the womaen's world magazine about eating during the day.

It got me to thinking that my weight gain may be because I don't eat

except for a small snack or two until Brayn cooks supper. I was

trying to eat every 2 or 3 hours like I used too but the weekend

messed things up. I know when I was eating crackers every 2 hours

years ago I got so sick that I coudn't even walk straight. It was

until I ignored the diabetic diet that I started feeling better.

There must be a balance somewhere. I do know that complex

carbohydrates are better than simple ones and that protein help to

counteract the low blood sugar.

's mom was a diabetic and he has been having some of the

hypoglocemic sysmptoms that I am along with the weight gain. So we

both need to find a solution to our problems.
