I just wondered. . . . . . . . . I have been taking NAC for 6 months, 3 times a day, 600 mg each dose. My doctor tells me it is working for me. I hope and pray it keeps on working. Toodles! Guest guest Posted September 24, 2007 Report Share Posted September 24, 2007 Jim, Since you have been nebulizing the Acetylcysteine, do you dilute it or mix it with other meds. When I first started nebbing it I mixed it in with my DuoNeb and it worked great. Then I read that you are not supposed to mix it. It is difficult to neb alone. Yucky! How many ml are you nebbing? I can not take it daily cause my tummy does NOT like it as a regular diet.. My transplant Dr. told me to go on it the first time I saw him. Good Luck with it. I am just very sensitive to medications.
