Guest guest
Hi, Just wanted to comment on this, as I'm Jewish. According to the laws of Judaism, Jews may only eat animals with split hooves that chew their cud. Since pigs don't fall into this category (they don't chew their cud), so they're forbidden to Jews. However, this is not necessarily the case with medicinal products such as Armour. Of course, I'm no rabbi, in fact, I'm not even religious , so I'm not a good source of info on this. But anyone who is concerned about this issue should consult with a qualified rabbi who is familiar with medicine and Jewish medical ethics (or an imam, if you're Muslim). I did a quick search on Google and found one rabbi who states categorically that Armour is OK to take (see http://yeshiva.org.il/ask/eng/rav.asp?rabbi=11 & page=3 and click " Nonkosher medicine " ). blithe > That's why Thyrolar is a nice alternative (in the US when it comes > back on the market.) > Don't forget with some religions you can't have any pork - Armour > would count as pork. > > Louise
