Job Openings in Bengaluru: HIV Care and Support

EngenderHealth with grants from the U.S Agency for International

Development (USAID) through University of Manitoba, is implementing

projects to scale up HIV/AIDS Care, Support and Treatment in

Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. EngenderHealth invites applications

for the following positions from talented and committed candidates

who are seeking meaningful and challenging assignments. All

positions are based in Bangalore and require involve up to 30-40%

travel time.

Must have excellent negotiation, communication (written and oral)

and interpersonal skills in order to be able to manage relationships

with diverse program partners. Knowledge of Kannada (also Telugu)

is a plus.

1. Treatment, Care and Support Coordinator (HIV & TB) Specialist:

MBBS/MD with Public Health/ community medicine background and at

least 5-6 yrs experience preferably in HIV and TB care.

Work with and supervise multidisciplinary team, set up services for

vulnerable population. Coordinate capacity building and training and

provide on site technical support to field staff. Will be required

to provide technical assistance in designing Training of Training

programs for different categories of service providers and supervise

trainings conducted by mater trainers and set up and monitor

services for vulnerable and high-risk population groups, train

2. Quality Improvement Specialist;

PG in Health, MBBS/MD or equivalent post graduate degree in health with 6 yrs

experience in Quality Improvement (QI)in HIV treatment care and support.

Assess, adapt tools, design and implement for capacity building in QI program in

HIV treatment, care and support.

3. OCV/Care & Support Specialist:

MBBS/MD or equivalent post graduate degree in health with 6 yrs experience in

HIV care and support and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). Design, plan,

coordinate and implement interventions for capacity-building and provide

technical assistance in OVC care. Coordinate capacity building and training and

provide on site technical support to field staff. Will be required to provide

technical assistance in designing Training of Training programs for different

categories of service providers and supervise trainings conducted by mater

trainers and set up and monitor services for vulnerable and high-risk population

groups, train
