MRI FUNNIES - OH BROTHER!!! How stupid! I've never gotten this request

though. And I've been totally deaf and had yearly MRIs (at different places)

since 1983/84/85. It's not the noise that bothers me, now. It's the

vibration! It's started to drive me bananas. When I first started having

MRIs, I was fine. I even fell asleep in the machine. But now, I need

sedation. I need " the drugs " before I get in the tube. If I don't get them,

I start yelling for them to get me out of there about an hour to an hour and

a half after we start. Mine usually last between one hour and two. I have

one this Spring 2001 that's at least three hours (straight - no breaks).

Ugh!!! Lots of drugs needed :o)

BUT - I can tell you that the MRI is way better, in my opinion, than the CAT

Scan. I hated those. I always wished that they'd get the poking over and

take it out right away. But I had to leave the dye IV in while I had the

scans. With the MRI, they inject the Gadolinium and that's it. No IV. MUCH

better.

You know what I did with those ear plugs, don't you?
