Guest guest
Ok, since I found out that liver is probably going to harbor some thyroid hormones, I will TRY to hold my nose and eat some, MAYbe once a week or so. That stuff just tastes nastyy to me!! Re: Blood Tests done May 5, 2004- or anyone, Please!!!! I'm there.. start up the stove!!! Hey, can we do some with oatmeal? I've been using that a lot on chicken, turkey burger, liver and fish... I really like it. Guest guest
I'm not sure if there would be any usable thyroid hormone in cooked liver... but plenty of other nutrients... I picked some up last night.. we're having a liver fry today.. with the oatmeal breading that I've been using... I just love the stuff.... *BIG grin* Topper () On Tue, 27 Jul 2004 08:10:57 -0500 " " writes: Ok, since I found out that liver is probably going to harbor some thyroid hormones, I will TRY to hold my nose and eat some, MAYbe once a week or so. Guest guest
I believe that what they were talking about there was the bovine, wasn't it? Anyway, for creatures who have a thyroid, it said that the thyroid hormones are in the liver because that's where they're processed for delivery to the rest of the tissues.
