My brainsays it was probably a spider, because I've never hadthat reaction to any other type of bug bite. I knowthat fire ant bites will be blisters, but this is adifferent type of blister. I live in the south, IKNOW fire ant bites. Fire ant bites tend to be pussylooking, these are just like burn blisters except the
Guest guest
Okay to cry.. but only if I can cry with you... I'm sooo frustrated today... I had plans for kitchen chores, got the stuff last night so that I'd have everything I need... now THE person that has been begging me to do all these cookies had a rough night of sleep, like I don't most nights with all this heat!!!????, and rather then just go to bed for a couple of hours and be functional she's 'cat napping' in the kitchen and has been for the last 5 hours... so I can't do none of the stuff that I was supposed to do... Now the temp is coming up outside and I dont' want to run the oven, cause then I'll be miserable in the heat.. and just watch... she'll be all wide awake and wonder why I've not done anything yet!!! ARRRGGGGHHHHH My pet peave: if you are sleepy, go to bed and sleep, don't plant your butt in a chair or on the couch so that no one else in the whole house can even sneeze!!!! .... and these are the same people that keep waking me up with dishwashers, slamming doors and hollering back and forth from one end of the house to the other to see where they want to go out for breakfast in another 3 1/2 hours! .... can you tell this weekend sucked???? Guest guest
!! It sounds like some of my rashes I have had, both when I went to the hospital and recently---especially with lower back pain(thought getting another kidney infection, but not). And I have been coping with the sinus infections lately. My immune system is definitely being challenged.Still in recovery from those hospitalizations.Even though, my legs healed very quickly(because of Armour for the most part)I am still so susceptible to what is out there. I will confess though.....I have been erractic in taking my iron(don't tell Topper!) While I was living in Vegas, I had come across a product found in health food stores, would love to try it again if I can find it. It is molasses capsules(for iron). I love molasses, could drink that straight!Molasses being chock full of iron. Thanks again for your information! hugs Feisty Re: OT question > Kathy > > Have you had any recent back pain in the lower back? Maybe before the > outbreak? I have been having some back/hip pain, but just attributed it to arthritis since I'm in the midst of changing my medication and that sometimes bothers me between meds. It has been bothering me more than usual though. My shingles are probably a result of stress and being run down a bit. Having a boyfriend who lives 50 miles away and can't drive means later nights/less sleep for me a few nights a week. I'm usually an 8 hour a night gal, but lately it's been more like 6.5 to 7 hours at least 3 nights a week and it's catching up with me. Today Mom is sitting in her recliner with a fan because she's hot and I'm not hot, although I'm usually the one fanning while she's covered up with a blanket. I haven't taken my temp since this morning before I got up, but I probably should check it. ===== Kathy >^,,^< KitzCat146@... http://www.heartwarmers4u.com/members/?kitzcat kitzcat2001 on Yahoo Messenger kitzcat on MSN Messenger In a cat's eyes, all things belong to cats. - English Proverb __________________________________________________

Guest guest
The kitchen is the focal point in this house.. comfy chairs, foot stools, tv.. and a computer so that they can do their stuff right there... all the conveniences.. but it also means that if they sack out there no one can do anything in the kitchen or leave the house.. it wakes them up.... oh well, such is life... But thanks for the kind words.. it does help. I have fun today.. at least for me it's fun. I had a baking day.. now we have a stash in the freezer again... I did coconut meringue cookies, chocolate drop cookies WITH icing, oatmeal raisin cookies, snickerdoodles and last, but not least, chocolate pudding. I still have to ball and roll the snickerdoodles.. but everything else is done and there is a nice assortment of treats that I baked and left out to eat.. every thing else is in the freezer. This works best for me... I can have a bit of a treat when I want it without the hassle of baking a batch of something and then being tempted to pig out on it because I had to go to the effort of making it! ehehehehehe But I'm sure good and tired now.... I had to cook food and set up my mini-meals for the next couple of days and now I'm pooped! hehehehee Topper () *who can hear the chocolate pudding calling! * On Wed, 28 Jul 2004 16:25:15 -0700 (PDT) Kathy Kitzcat writes: {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Topper}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}Sounds like you need a hug too. I also have to agreewith you on sleeping in the bed. Or a comfortablechair in the living room/den area and certainly not inthe kitchen. That just sounds terribly uncomfortableto me, although I have fallen alseep in the kitchenchair before. It just wasn't intentional, itcertainly wasn't comfortable and I moved within about15 minutes. Guest guest
The common treatment for Shingles is a round of prednisone. Is that what he prescribed. If he didn't he certainly should have. It eases the pain and reduces the swelling. Unlike the adrenal treatment in lower doses all the time, this is a whopping dose for about a wk to 10 days, gradually reduced everyday.
