Online facilitation is an evolving art and expanding opportunity that empower

People Living with HIV (PLHIV) to interact with other groups and also to work

across time and distance. Online work and interactions require facilitation

skills beyond those used in face-to-face meetings. Group dynamics between

positive and other groups in the virtual environment are better achieved by

capacity building of PLHIV on new communication technologies. Creating unique

conditions and opportunities by convergence of the wide array of communication

techniques like phone, chat, SMS and Blog, help to bring out experiences which

would otherwise not be heard online. How to increase the participation of PLHIV

as well as how to transform most of the content posted on these discussion

forums to ones that are better presented and made useful to the PLHIV community

would be the skills learnt through this workshop.
