Guest guest
LOL I bet she was cute Clara!! I miss the little trick or treaters my sis-in-law and I used to have a blast with the kids! I'll never forget one year my neice dressed up like a cheerleader (she was only 3) and my nephew (age 5) was a football player. Every house they went to, the people would say "oh you're so cute!" and Brittany would pipe up and say, "I'm not cute, I'm a cheerleader" ROFL then the very next thing out of her mouth was "do you have kitties?" She is such an adorable child haha! We used to take 6 kids with us - we would usually drive (to stay warm)and they could freeze LOL (this was in Minnesota) I'd lock all the doors and when the kids got cold and wanted in to warm up I'd "charge" them a Reese's Peanut Butter cup ROFL! That worked great for years until one of the kids got smart and handed me an entire bag of them at the beginning of the "run" telling me he was paid in full for the whole night hahaha! darn kids! then the rest of 'em caught on and my torture days were over Melody Moris, Leader TOPS #Tx1454, Pleasanton http://www.texastops.org email: topsmama@... ----Original Message-----From: Clara Sent: Sunday, October 31, 2004 6:51 PMTo: TexasTOPS Subject: Re: candyI've only had three trick-or-treaters so far, and one of them was my 10 year old granddaughter. Guest guest
My mother had 112 trick or treaters. She made 120 bags to give out. That leaves 8 missing. Hmmm.....we found the culprit...my father ate them! They ran out of candy after 2 hours and had to go inside and turn off the porch light. My mom said she got lots of exercise that night! LOL! Guest guest
No leftover candy here because I didn't give out any! We didn't have any treat or treaters anyways. The last apartment I lived at we had tons. This year.....none. Weird! Oh well. We just watched horror movies all night! LOL! I don't really care for sweets, didn't have much Halloween candy, but I am a sucker for DOTS and the ones that come out at Halloween taste soooo much better than the ones you can buy year round. I have overindulged in DOTS...I will admit that! But they are fat free! Not calorie free of course! :0) Your TOPS Pal, Jr. "I want to be weightless flying through the air.
