Guest guest
Hi Lori Jo...If you are claustophobic..I take a washcloth with me to cover my eyes, so even if I open my eyes, I can't see anything. I just go to sleep, but I take a xanax before I go too. Also, don't wear any jewelry..(I only wear my wedding ring). Biggest thing is to relaxxxxxx! Guest guest
Lori Jo, MRIs are painless but they are really noisey. If they are long they give me something. It helps me to to ask for a towel to put over my eyes. I get chlosterphobia way bad. I pray the whole time im in there too!! You will be fine!!!- Lori:) Re: Re: Wife's 2nd Surgery > Group, I have my mri scheduled now and I am all set to see the surgeon on jan > 16. Does anyone have any suggestions before I go? Guest guest
- Good Answer, . In all my previous MRI's I told them I didn't need them even when I heard a little yet long ago. BUT this last one in Oct after I told the guy I was totally deaf he still put them in my ears. Next year I am going to boycott the MRI scan if they attempt to put the ear plugs in again. I am still ticked!!!! They don't listen. I am proud of you telling them. Guest guest
Lori and !~ I still use earplugs when noise is excessive. We use large jackammers at work, and I may not hear it but you can still get a great head ache in a confined space. MARCUS ! > Lori, > > At my last MRI the technican offered ear plugs. I said I did not need them because I was deaf. I had a few MRIs with no plugs with no problems. She asked me to take them anyway. So I asked " do you think this thing can make me hear?
