Guest guest
Over my long and semi-illustrious career, I have worked primarily for non-therapist owners (Hospitals, Home Health, Rehab Companies) as well as worked directly with therapist owners and CEOs. Both have pros and cons.. but as we all know, its the person's vision and integrity that maters. Few would survive without consultants. I love the lively discussion and unabashed comments on this listserve. I'm sure any posts concerning non-therapist owners are not trying to be offensive; but, wanting to encourage people to take a step into ownership if that is their calling. Running a business is quiet a process, that may not be in the best interest of everyone (without my wife and comments from people such as those in this list-serve, it would be a double chore). I run a non-clinical company and see it as a " calling " where I can merge my clinical interests with a business passion (business = a field where I have no college trainning). Now, I just need to hire someone like Jim and those great clinical/marketing people on here to teach me how to make money (I already have the ability to spend money) Steve Passmore PT, MS Healthy Recruiting Tools spass@...
