Guest guest
Had my phone consult with my Dr. yesterday regarding my low ferritin (40), potassium and low t3 level, despite taking the same compounded 75mcg as before. She said; 1.Keep taking adrenal aide( I had stopped, because I felt fine)I just started up again. 2. Maybe change to compounded t3 in tablet form (will have some fillers)...or switch pharmacies.( I am looking into liquid or other pharmacies. 3. She said not yet to potassium. Rather she wants me to try over the counter first, as it can be dangerous.Potas 4.3 r 3.5-5.2 sodium 140 But, she did say; 4. There is a Bio-identical aldosterone in a creme form that shes using. I really wish I knew how much more t3 to take to get my levels up, as I was floored that my t3 was 3.0 r2.3-4.2 She wants me to take another cortisol test..Shouldnt I get off the adrenal aide way before the test?
