Guest guest
I definitely experienced an increase in bleeding after activity. It used to be that exercise improved my pms and expedited my periods. Now just a walk around the grocery store has me heading for the couch to put my feet up. I can feel the bleeding pick up when I move around. Even getting up to unload the dishwasher brings me to my knees. You are not crazy at all. As for stress and creative block, well, who here isn't stressed out and preoccupied when the raging river begins down there? People who haven't experienced it just can't possibly understand. Guest guest
I do not believe that stress increases bleeding, but I do believe that the heavy bleeding that comes with fibroids increases stress. I think that maybe increased activity does increase bleeding. It seemed to do that to me. Guest guest
Fibroids a symptom of blocked creativity? Yes, that is completely crazy. I'm sorry, but I think that is a load of new age hogwash! ;-) Somebody had too much time on their hands to come up with that idea! Dorie stress, activity and heavy bleeding from fibroids--any correlation? > Thank you to everyone in this group for being so helpful. Yes, that is completely crazy. > I'm sorry, but I think that is a load of new age hogwash! ;-) Somebody had > too much time on their hands to come up with that idea! Dorie > I tend to agree, if you're going to call it " blocked creativity. " My point, however, was that having fibroids, or their symptoms, if you don't know you have fibroids, definitely has an effect on my mental sharpness, my focus, and my energy, which can all be regarded as necessary to the creative process. Just the amount of time and energy I have put into researching this and finding medical care has detracted from my ability to work, take care of my family, and pursue my hobbies. I am a piano student, and for at least the last six months, I have had difficulty focusing on it and progressing. I used to tell my teacher I just feel like I'm in a " funk. " Maybe not " blocked creativity, " but definitely a " funk. " New age is so " Not Me " , but then, neither are fibroids. Judy
