I wish him loads of Mazel!!! -- Z.fibriotic NSIP/05/PA Potter, reader, carousel lover, and MomMom to Darah "I'm gonna be iron like a lion in Zion." Bob Marley -------------- Original message -------------- Hello all, This is very important! I spoke with Lynley today and she is very anxious to get LOTS of personal stories about IPF/PF including pictures if you can. We NEED to make an impact on Congress and she was told specifically by the congressmen that personal stories will make more of an impact than facts and statistics. They need to hear us. This is our time. So, if you can, please email her at ledwardscaringvoice (DOT) org with your personal story whatever it may be. No criteria. No limits on length. The deadline for stories is August 31st. Thank you, Bonnie, for getting this ball rolling. Leanne uip 1/03 Illinois Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo! Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I did it. I sent it on to Linley and now i am sitting here feeling so stupid. I don't know if I said the right things or just sent a mess. All I could do was cry after a point. I am NOT a cry baby. I HATE this disease.. This made me look at what I have been through and what my precious group has gone through... Oh God help us. I did attach a picture it sure did look big I hope it got smaller in transit..lol I hope somebody in Washington reads these stories. I would love to read everyones story. Maybe Leanne can get a copy from Linley and make a IPF profile book. Wouldn't that be to cool. I think we could say we were published.. Now there is a funny for ya.. Have a good one. Love and Prayers, Peggy ipf Florida " Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up. " Hi All, " Get 'er done! " I think including a picture is a great idea. I had sent one, then added a photo and sent another. I am really excited about this opportunity to be heard. We need awareness! Guest guest
Leanne: Are you going to be able to share the stories that Lynley took to Washington? I appreciate your reinforcing this with the board. This is our chance to have some impact & Lynley was very eager to help those of us who suffer from this group of diseases. Could you post something on the Caregivers Board as well? Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles.Visit the Yahoo! Auto Green Center.
