Guest guest
Good golly, that's lowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. How much sea salt and potassium are you doing? You really should get aldosterone testing with those numbers. A lot of people can't get stable temps (although we don't know that's your problem) without getting florinef (if low on aldosterone). I would really encourage you to test for aldosterone. Sodium 134 Potassium 3.9 I've only been supplementing for about 3 weeks. Haven't taken labs again. I've never had aldosterone done. ------------------------------------
Guest guest
That seems a reasonable amount but we don't know for sure since you can't do temps. Is there no way? Don't you get breaks during the day? 25-30mgs of HC Saliva tests weren't low, but definitely needed HC supplementation. ------------------------------------
Guest guest
I just doubled the potassium to 2 600mgs tabs/3xday 1/2 tsp celtic sea salt 2x/day What are symptoms of low aldosterone? I need that tested on the first day/week of my cycle, correct?

Guest guest
Yes, first three days of cycle. Salt fasting for 48 hours, no meds, no food and up 2 hours before the test as close to 8am as possible. Not sure if that amount of salt is enough with such a low sodium number and I wonder if the ratio of salt to potassium you're taking isn't off. Is that slow release potassium chloride? If so you're not really getting 3600. You're getting about half. Low aldosterone symptoms. Low BP (although not always, I don't have it), sweating, heat intolerance, frequent urination, what else.....can't think of what else. Guest guest
I think at this point you should test aldosterone/renin/sodium/potassium. Do you have low aldosterone symptoms. Guest guest
I have heat intolerance and water retention. I'll test aldosterone/sodium/potassium/renin next time of my cycle. What else could be going on? Thank you so much for your time.

Guest guest
Today Im doing the 24 hr cortisol test, and neurotransmitter re test all in one. After I do it, Im going to start back on adrenal aide. I stopped for 2 months because I felt great, but when I started doing all those strong anti candida supplements and liver flush with epsom salts, it thru off my intestinal balance and electrolytes even worse, I know that was stressful to my adrenals. Im staying on the anti candida supplements, but know I need to resume the adrenal aide.
