Guest guest
Can only take temps in the AM as I teach first graders all day. How long do people usually have to wait to " see " /feel a difference on a T3 only regime?

Guest guest
It depends on if the meds are getting to the cells with proper cortisol. What's your basal (morning 10 minutes) temp? Guest guest
Kinda lowish-- 97ish What would prevent the thyroid from getting into the cells? Low potassium? Low sodium? I have both, but supplement. Do I need Florinef if Sea Salt isn't working?

Guest guest
Not enough cortisol and to know if you're on enough temps would be the way to go.Do you have labs for aldosterone and sodium and potassium before and while supplementing? Guest guest
Sodium 134 Potassium 3.9 I've only been supplementing for about 3 weeks. Haven't taken labs again. I've never had aldosterone done.

Guest guest
25-30mgs of HC Saliva tests weren't low, but definitely needed HC supplementation.

Guest guest
Good golly, that's lowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. How much sea salt and potassium are you doing? You really should get aldosterone testing with those numbers. A lot of people can't get stable temps (although we don't know that's your problem) without getting florinef (if low on aldosterone). I would really encourage you to test for aldosterone. Sodium 134 Potassium 3.9 I've only been supplementing for about 3 weeks. Haven't taken labs again.
