Guest guest
Adrenal antibodies means you have 's Disease. You need to get onHC before fixing the thyroid issues. But your thyroi dissues are serious, you have horridly high Rt3. more Armoru wil make this worse! You need T3 only to clear ou t the excess T4 and RT3 in your system. But Iwould certainyl be getting mroe indepth cortils and aldosterone labs to see the extent of that and get it balanced before trying to fix the thyroid issues. That si why you cannot retain minerals. Your aldosteorne is proabbyl in the dirt.Though it is odd for someone with s to have low potassium. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Good morning, Ms Val, and thank you. Now I was under the impression that 's meant that I was bordering on death. Is it just a state of having antibodies?? Yes, I need the IsoCort, in spite of what some folks think, in order to maintain some sense of humanity, but.... My numbers aren't way out in the crazy zone like my thyroid antibodies are... Slow and insidious, here we go again? So cortisol, aldosterone... and T3 to get the RT3 down. I will have to see what the urine test is for. I was given a goodie bag to take home... This doc is of the mind that there are certain 24-hour urine tests that are better indicators of adrenal and thyroid(?) function. Whatever it takes... So, is there any possibility that I am taking too much Armour? Or is a lot of this simply the result of resistance.. and how would one know the difference.. in the absense of symptoms?.. Of course, there are so many symptoms that share both sides of the thyroid fence.. so, call me confused... Thanks loads. I will continue to move forward. I appreciate your efforts.. and the fact that you are willing to share your experience with me (and the rest of us) Never Give Up! jacqueline --------------------------------- > Adrenal antibodies means you have 's Disease. Guest guest
TSH <0.01 (0.35 - 4.82) T3 243 H (70 - 190)(I asked for free.. oh well) FT4 1.76 H (0.59 - 1.17) Yes wiht T4 over range, it could be the RT3 was originally caused by too much Armour or it could be you took too much armour to try ot resolve hypo symtooms from already high RT3. Most lily will never know which came first,. But reducing it I have not seen correct high RT3, thta takes pushing it out of the receptors iwht T3 only. Yes it is odd ot have 's wihtout being deadin the water as the blood cortils ranges are SO bad you have ot be near death before they are flagged for followup testign wiht adrnela antibodies. Yours is caught early before it has ottally disrupted cortils production but it will. So I would plan on full replacement NOW. There is no ned to worry about preserving adnrela funciton wiht thoise antibodies present to take enough HC ot feel well and tolerate thyroid properly. Guest guest
Well, I guess I have my work cut out for me. I want to say my T3 jumped over the range before my T4 did, if that means anything. I have been chasing symptoms, quite conservatively, actually... When I started Synthroid, initially, I got an immediate boost in energy. I became Wonder Woman. I was told later that that was in my head, because only people who are comatose respond that quickly.. I still laugh. I guess it don't really matter how I got here.. I am here and need to get out of this hole... I suspect my father was probably somewhere in this vacinity as well. After the fact, we see so many things in him, thyroid (he wouldn't take Synthroid, go figure), adrenals, Celiac.. Couldn't he have just given me his charming personality and blue eyes? God bless him! ok, I'm rambled out, this time... j

Guest guest
Hey there Ms Val, So, when you typed 'cortils', it wasn't a typo of cortisol. Silly me for assuming when I didn't know exactly what that meant. I noticed you typed the same thing in another message. Is there more than one we can have tested or are you referring to the saliva testing collection method of 4 throughout the day? Pardon my ignorance. Thanks loads for ll you do, j

Guest guest
> http://www.absolutehealthandhealing.com/articles/BCH_Thyroid_Assessment.pdf Great article. Lots of goodies. " Potassium plays a role in sensitizing the mitochondria to thyroid hormone. " Low Pot = tissue resistance maybe. " A range of vitamins and minerals are required for energy production in the glycolysis and carboxylic acid cycles in the mitochondria. If these co-factors are missing or toxins block steps in the pathway, thyroid hormone will be ineffective in increasing energy production. " It takes energy to get nutrients into the cell and toxins out. " Even if circulating hormone levels are normal and hormones can be absorbed into the cells, when tissue potassium is low they may not be utilized, resulting in a low thyroid effect. This commonly contributes to thyroid problems in slow metabolizers. Potassium supplements rarely help because the problem is a loss of potassium due to kidney dysfunction and electrical imbalances at the cellular level. " But normalizing/raising the pH has seemed to raise my temps some, so might be one way to help balance electrical imbalances at the cellular level.
