Yes, the same thing happened to me regarding the birth control pills. My

blood pressure kept being high. It would always be between 130-140/87-90.

That is high for me too. I also started getting weird feelings in my ankles

and chest. As soon as I took myself off of those birth control pills I

started to feel better accept for bad headaches. I remember an obgyn told

me that birth control pills will elevate your blood pressure. That is one

of the main reasons I want the myomectomy. I don't want to deal with those

birth control symptoms. I was on Loestrin 1/20

The original one I was on had both estrogen and progesteron but was

the lowest estrogen dosage out there. I know from when my sister was

on this one. I have not yet found out what my levels were while I was

on it. Have to call my regular doctor on Thursday and find out.

I just started taking Provera to try to control this terrible bleeding. I am

taking it only 7 days before the period, I will let you know how it goes.

At least you take this onlyl 7 days, while the birth control you take every

day, so my doctor told me. The provera has only progestrone.

Any comments will be appreciated.
