hi,

RU486 has long been the center of a great controversy. It's main use

has been as an " abortion pill " . Some of the sites I went to also mentioned

other uses.

Being a non-trusting person(of the media & medicine), I sometimes thing

they ( the medical community) started doing more research on RU486 to

justify having it approved by the FDA. The Anti-abortion people wanted to

continue the ban . As medicine is money - it would pay to have it approved

and with its duel role - no one outside the Dr. and patient would know the

true reason for prescription thus taking the heat off of physicians that

use RU486 for its original stated purpose.

If it does indeed work for the Fibroids/endo - thats another option

that might save folks heartache .

I did a search on Yahoo and came up with many sites related to RU486.
