Hi Glenda,

Welcome to the list! I'm not sure if you've posted before or not. We've had so many new people join lately that I'm having a hard time keeping everyone straight. Don't let us scare you away... we can be silly at times, but we'll try to behave...promise!

What part of Texas are you from? I live in Lampasas County, deep in the heart of Central TX, and attend TOPS in Copperas Cove, near Fort Hood. I joined TOPS in July 2002, and joined this list in Oct. 2003. (HEY, people... that means that this month is my one year Texas TOPS anniversary.... did I get flowers or anything??? Nooooo!! That's okay, this past Thursday was also my 19 year wedding anniversary, so hubby took me to Red Lobster for lunch. He didn't get me flowers either! LOL! Of course, I don't let him have any money.) Anyhooooo Glenda, I'm glad that you found us. And believe me... you're on the right loop. We have a very supportive group of folks here on the list.... always willing to share in our joys; comfort and encourage us when things get tough; offer suggestions, ideas, and helpful advice; and brighten our days. I'm looking forward to gettin' to know you better.

(Gee whiz, I only had to restart this stupid computer 3 times, just to send out these emails!) I keep tellin' my hubby that my next husband is either going to be a computer repairman, a welder, or a lawn mower/tractor mechanic!

This may be solely my opinion, but, I think this email was in very bad taste to post on the group site and it has no value at all to lose weight. I personally think this should have been an email sent on a one on one basis to individuals who wanted to recieve it.

To me it was rather disgusting. Maybe I am on the wrong loop. Glenda
