Guest guest
Hi Doris, Yep, meant S'port La, LOL. I have a part-time job at LSUHSC. I work with the medical students and residents helping to teach them. It is basically an acting job. Called a standardized patient. We learn cases then they take our history, do non-invasive exams, and try to dx us. I also score the exams and help to teach the cases to other standardized patients. Been doing this for over 3 years now, I love it and hope to be able to keep doing it while going to school next semester. I guess you are going to Fiest Weiller for your gamma knife? Can't wait until they get into their new building. The program I work with is getting their old space in the hospital! We have been using the sleep lab until now and it is a hassle for them and for us. thanks for the welcome! Hugs Pam > > Hi all, I'm Pam from Shreveport. Guest guest
Hi Marsha I was in a study at MD . They were the only ones willing to try chemo on pregnant women. But the chemo molecules are so large that they do not go through the plancenta. My baby had hair and fingernails, and perfect blood work. I was one sick lady for sure, but very blessed and so glad to still be around. Thanks for the welcome Pam > > Hi all, I'm Pam from Shreveport.
