Yes, I have/had veterans in my family that I'm remembering. I'm

proud to say I can trace my family's military service all the way

back to the American Revolutionary War. And my family's military

service continues to this day.

I'm proud to be American and proud of all those (not just my

relatives) who have served and are still serving our country to make

it and keep it free!

I am remembering all Veterans that have fought in the past, and all those fighting and serving today. My Father served in WWII, and my oldest step-son was in Desert Storm. Last night at church, we prayed for the family of a local young man who was killed in Fallujah (sp?). When bad news strikes your family, or your local town, it makes the war seem so much more "personal." I just pray this war will end soon and all those young men and women will return safely to their families.
