On a general note, once again thank you for presenting an important perspective.

When we are immersed in a

situation we tend to be so linear in our thinking. We expend so much energy on

just trying to steadily move

forward, putting one foot in front of the other. There are usually options

available but which we hadn't

really considered because we didn't perceive them at all. This list is a

wonderful place, all because of the

wonderful people on it.

Best regards,

Anne, mom of Penina (CHARGE, 6)

Oh, my. I've recently been put on Ativan for anxiety. I don't think it's

sufficient, and my doctor is thinking about - pushing hard, actually - for

Zoloft or Paxil. What are you taking? I hate this, hate it, hate it. I know

that this has come up previously, but cannot remember what people have

tried. To think that I've made it 18 years without resorting to meds...Tim ,

I have take Zoloft in the past and am now taking Serafem (Prozac). I found

both to be helpful. I think each person responds to each med differently.

There's no reason I can think of to avoid Zoloft or Prozac. I have less

side effects with the Prozac. On Zoloft, I had decreased libido. That was

a bit frustrating -- I was finally happy enough to be in the mood, but I

just wasn't :-( Good luck in your search for a solution.

Thanks Michele and for being so

'honest' during this venture!

It really breaks my heart to hear of Kennedy's 'challenges' ; ( ALL positive

thoughts are sent your way ...

In a nut shell, we ALL are blessed with our wonderful children, as unique as

they may always be...
