I don't know what you men by bumps, but I have had several bumps removed from

skin surface. hard bumps, some you could " move " around. I've had them

removed from my skull (1), my nose (1), my fingers (3), rib cage (1) and leg

(1) I have a few more, but they dont cause me pain or arent a cosmetic

problem, so they can stay for now.

exactly, i actually have one on my scalp that i never got off, its rather

small and annoying too. it''s nothing to be concerned about really, I know

many of us NF2bies have them. You may want to mention them to your Dr. but

don't get overly concerned, if they bother you or cause pain, to remove them

is usually a simple out patient procedure.

All the best,

I can't answer what they are, but I did see what it looked like last tome I

had one taken out. Theyre just growths, or tumors...it was yellow with white

around it, like a big hunk of fat......when I see my neuro on 15th I will ask

for the medical term for them.
