Myo vs. Hyst / Misogyny in Gynecology

There are women who have myos and are very happy with

the results - just as there are women who have hysts

and are very happy with the results. Nobody can make

that choice for you or tell you which one would be

better for you - but please, please get as much info

as you can about both before making that decision.

Personally, I'm thinking that I would prefer myo over

hyst. From what I've read so far, the chance of

fibroid regrowth after myo is about 25% - so

potentially one could go for years without having to

have another surgery, if ever. I don't take surgery

lightly, but what wrote (below) would be a

major deciding factor for me. Hormonal effects aside,

the possibility of never having another orgasm would

be a Very Big Deal to me, it's something I would NOT

be okay with. YMMV, but that ability is something I'd

endure numerous surgeries to keep, if necessary.
