Excruciating Headaches After Stopping Birth Control Pills

I know I probably have posted this question before, but I'm desperate to know if

any one has had excruciating headaches after getting off of birth control pills.

This has happened to me before and whenever I tell a doctor about this, they

give me this blank look. That's why I do not like starting birth control pills

because whenever I try to get off of them, I wake up in the morning with

horrible headaches. I wonder if its the drop in hormones because whenever I

start them again, the headaches go away. I stared to go to the ER room. I woke

up with an excruciating headache, and I pains in my front ankles (couldn't

understand the correlation) and my heart was beating really fast. As though my

blood pressure was up. I don't ever want to take those birth control pills ever

again. Now I'm actually looking forward to my surgery on Friday. After dealing

with all of these odd symptoms for years I'm afraid of what they might find. I

know I have to think positive and have faith in God and I will be fine. Hope

everyone here has a wonderful blessed New Year!

I can relate but can't help much. I took the pill 10-15 years ago and had

terrible headaches until my body got used to them and then I was OK. When

I came off them, I had the headaches again for a while. I don't know what

caused them.
