Guest guest
The newer protocol is adriomyacin and cytoxan, the CMF is, from what two docs told me, an older treatment and not as effective. Guest guest
Hi Elaine: <<I also had CMF, 9 courses, concurrent with radiation. If you have any questions just let me know!>> ==>Was yours a slow growing or low grade cancer? I'd rather have CMF than AC+T myself. How badly did your hair thin on the CMF? ~Amber
Guest guest
Patty there are a few ladies who have had babies during and after cancer. But getting pregnant while taking tamoxifen is a good question for your Dr. Everyone is different on their treatments, I for one had lumpectomey with 4 nodes removed that were fully involved, so I had to have chemo plus rads. I was her 2+ so I am taking tamox, but thank you lord I will get to stop taking it in August this year. Good luck with your treatments.
