Guest guest
a, Call your local hospital to see if they have one if not maybe the American Cancer Society could help. I am sorry about not having the chats here anymore. I am not able to do them as I let my husband have the computer in the evenings since I have it all day. Maybe someone will want to start them up again. I know my crochet group has chats twice a week and they are having a terrible time from what I hear. Either they can't get in or if they do they can see the others names but they can't get their messages through. So I don't know if it would even pay to try as that was one of the reasons everyone stopped coming to chat. Guest guest
Hi, Here in my area (west coast of Florida) there are cancer counselors and support and educational groups attached to the radiation and oncology centers of the hospital. Fortunately, they do have specific breast cancer counselors and groups-- Some areas also have hotlines patients can call in for information-- also some have survivors who are willing to serve as " mentors " to patients in or just beginning treatment or diagnosis. Hopefully you can find one of these. I go on many bc sites, and if I see something more specific I will post it. What part of Michigan is it??? (id, N, S, E, W, central, etc) Carol > a, > Call your local hospital to see if they have one if not maybe the American > Cancer Society could help. > I am sorry about not having the chats here anymore. You might want to call your local red cross chapter, they could probably direct you in the right direction Carol Looking for support groups I was wondering since there really is no chatroom here. If anyone knows of any support groups that are clsoe to me. I live in , Michigan. I have looked on the cancer.org site and the only ones that I see are a couple of hours away.
