Guest guest
Hollie, Thanks for updating us and adding to our data pool! I hope you feel back to normal soon, and that " Mickey " is soon host to another little one. When that happens, please, please see to it that you are thoroughly evaluated for IC, though. Can't wait to hear about your follow-up HSG :-) Beth SU

Guest guest
Hi Hollie, I hope you are feeling much better by today. You may have a tender abdomen for quite a few days. I think mine hurt for about 7-10 days. But just wear loose clothing and you'll be fine. > As we all suspected, I am SU not BU. If I remeber correctly, he > said there was not even the slightest dip at the top of my uterus. I'm so glad that this is over for you. I'm sure that the fibroids were a surprise to you. I'm glad that he does not think they will cause problems. Will you get to see pictures? I hope so. I'm not surprised at your final dx after all you have been through. But take comfort that your new uterus should be just as good as a non-SU uterus for getting pg, except check up on the possibility of IC, as Beth mentioned, when you do get pg. Good luck at your f/u visit. Keep us posted. I hope these 2 months fly by for you. > > Doc has me on estrogen for 14 days. He said we will do a follow up > HSG following my second cycle. Will he put you on progesterone too? My surgery was done on cd 7 and I was put on 30 days of estrogen (5 mg/day) and then the last 10 days I was on progesterone (10 mg/day) and AF came about 2 days after I stopped all meds. Guest guest
Hollie, I haven't been posting much, as the wedding plans are keeping me extremely busy, but I wanted to come out of hiding to say congratulations on the surgery, and wishing you a speedy recovery. I was so very sure you had SU, and I am glad the surgery was successful. I hope this gives you a sense of peace and relief after all you have been through. I remember coming out of my surgery and feeling just so emotional and overwhelmed to have finally made it to that point...a great feeling, but also a sad one for the losses to have gone throough first. Anyways, I am so happy for you that the surgery is over with, and take it easy! 29, SU resected, bicollis, ttc _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
