Isn't it funny how something just clicks for us and we realize that we just

Jenn,

Your email could have been me talking! I strongly dislike veggies. I can

force myself to eat carrots but I don't think they taste good, so why do it?

I also like a few others that have points too. I probably go hungry more

than most people because I don't eat the veggies but I am used to it! If I

can't do it for the rest of my life than why make myself do it now? I think

that my doing that I will only set myself up for disappointment later when I

am trying to maintain. Am I making sense? Basically I would rather do

without than force myself to eat something I don't like. So here's to use

veggie dislikers!

Wow... good to know who to look to for support... right now im safe.. i can eat alright and not have worry about major points. Im b/f my son and because of that im in a 32-27 pt range. I actually found that if i cut the sweets and junk food that i eat, i can stay within that range without adapting too much right now. Its the future i worry about when I either start supplementing my son or i start to lose more weight... and lose the extra points... Make sense? I know that if i can develop a taste and tolerance for them then i will be better off in the future. But i do agree... dont set yourself up by forcing yourself to 'DIET' this is WW a lifestyle change is the name of the game! ;) As for the carrots, i have a member that goes to meetings, one of his mind games is a bag of carrots in the front top shelf of the fridge.. and if he doesnt want to eat one of them then he isnt hungry enough to eat at all! Wish that would work for me too!

Guess what? I just checked out 's site and its great by the way! I checked out the links for Body Fat... I am currently 54% fat! ugh! one site said that my ideal weight would be 110 lbs.. i cant imagine myself that thin.... wow! thats an idea.. my goal was only like 140 or so... hmmmm!

You know, if you don't like lettuce, you don't have

to eat it!! :) If you like other veggies, just put

those in the bowl without lettuce...you can still have

dressing if you want....there are many 0 point veggies

instead of lettuce....:):):)

Unfortunately i dont like lettuce, cold carrots, cold broccoli, cold cauliflower... most veggies i only like in stirfry... maybe i will have to start steaming them and find a good stirfry sauce.. thats usually 0 pts too.. HMMMM thanx for helping me find another idea!

That's just what I do, too! Actually, I kind of make a

mish mash of veggies...frozen squash, onions,

mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, chili tomato sauce(made by

Hunt's--they have taco flavored, pasta flavored and a

few others) and kidney beans to make a veggie chili.

We have a Silver Diner here and they make the best and

I wanted it at home, so that's what I make!! The whole

pot is only 3.5 pts!!

I too hate most veggies and really hate any raw veggies, along with being allergic to others. I find myself tricking myself. I make the fiesta soup recipe and put french style green beans in it. they pick up the taco style flavor of of the soup, they are not bad at all that way. Other than that I stick with carrots (cooked of course), corn, peas, mushrooms & onions (cooked of course).

I don't do too bad with those veggies.

Of course I am really weird because I DON"T DO Salads of any kind. I absolutly can't stand the taste of lettuce (if it has been on a burger I won't even eat the burger because it has such a strong taste to me. I often wonder if this is some how related to my allergies of other veggies.) I find that if peppers (my main allergy) smell so strong to me I can smell them before anyone else can taste them.

Looks like there are lots of us veggie haters out there.

Jenn,

Believe it or not, I think it gets easier and you get to a point that

you don't want those " bad " foods anymore. You are doing a great

job! Keep it up!
