Guest guest
Something I find very helpful for weight control is a gadget called Caltrac. You wear it on your belt or waistband, and it measures how many calories you burn as you go about your daily activities. When you know how many calories you're burning, you know how many you can get away with eating. If you regularly eat fewer calories than you burn, you'll lose weight. I forget the URL where I recently found the following information, but if you do a Google search for Caltrac, you'll find it: To Order: Call . The CALTAC retails for $89.95 plus shipping and handling. (California residents must add local tax). Your CALTRAC comes with a user friendly manual, instructional video, 6 month warranty and a personal pocket calorie book. Incidentally someone recently pointed out to me that I'd never introduced myself. I am Jane D's sister. She's the one with PLS. She lives in Florida, and I live in Pennsylvania. I joined this list when I learned that she had joined it, to better keep in touch with her situation. It was Jane who first gave me a Caltrac--I forget when, but it was a good many years ago, and the thing still works. Licia Kuenning kuenning-licia@... licia@...
