Finally. Amounted to getting an agreeable rep at Quest Labs.

Copper 817 (600-1100) have been supping 4 mg

Magnesium 2.19 (1.65-2.65) 800mg

Manganese 36 (12-26) 36 mg

Potassium 76 (55-85) ~2000mg

Selenium 285 (120-300) 200 mg

Zinc 178 (138-245) 0

I sure don't need manganese. Don't need more selenium. Now I can try zinc at

night.

I was taking copper because a high ferritin can mean it is decr.

Rest of labs are in the group lab files.

I have in my notes that the ideal ratio of zinc:copper is 8:1, so you

would be " copper dominant " by that measure. But I have also in my notes

that 10:1 is best.

If the blood tests for these minerals is close to accurate (which is

apparently debatable) more zinc and dropping the copper supp entirely

might be the way to go? Not saying I know this for sure, just an idea.

Dorothy looking at your labs this AM are you supplementing potassium and

at your new labs just piosted here, the RBC values I would say the

piotassium may come uo even more,.

I am supping K like mad. Now you have me completely confused about the sodium. I

stopped the sodium bicarb because it was making the edema and breathlessness

worse. I salt my food, but that is all. Trying again to get ide. Is that a

good idea.

OK I just looked again at your labs and your last potassium was 4.6

which I think can still come up, and sodium 140 which DOES NEED TO COME

UP. It is possible now that you are on T3 that you need less HC. Are you

having any low cortisl symptoms? Missing doses wihtout feeling it? It

was not long after I cleared out my RT3 that my adrneals VERY suddenly

healed and started producing their on cortils in spite of th high HC

dose I was on.

Yes, shaky in the morning. went back up to 42.5. Things were improving until I

got that infection and had to go back up on HC.

>Missing doses wihtout feeling it?

Not for the last few days. Edema and out-of-breath worse.

More hypo lately. dry skin, finger tips cracked, depressed, wiped, tired, muddle

headed, achy joints.

Went back up to 88mcg T3. rising temp 96.8, occ 97.2, daily average 97.9, base

HR 68.

Good old prescription Cytomel. On Feb 20 I was on 100 mcg Cytomel LA and started

decr HC because I felt my adrenals were better. I decr T3 to 88 when I was down

to 32 mg HC. I got down to 17.5 when I got the infection and went back up.

I didn't really feel much difference at all. I have been having the shortness of

breath for much longer than that. The aching hips got much worse when I tried

progest cream for a week. Then I started some krill oil which made it really

bad, till Patty mentioned that it has Vit E in it which always does that to me.

The edema I have had since starting HC. But did not change much when I decr. The

diuretic did help with that.

Well, what can I say except I'm not your cat? My heart rate did not change, I

didn't feel jittery, have more trouble sleeping, temp inrc, nothing. The edema

slowly improved, but I started the diruetic at the same time.
