RE: Coconut Palm Sugar

These products on Oz is paid for to be on there...that's why he recommends

so many products....

As you see for this coconut sugar program, it's clearly paid for by the

brand as he only shows one brand of coconut sugar when there are a bunch

available

At least it sounds like it tastes pretty good!

Unfortunately I am assuming that your body doesn't know the difference between

palm sugar and sucrose!

Does anyone know if it really has a lower glycemic index than sucrose?

I've looked into this and I could not find any published studies on it.

Each company will provide a GI value but I've not seen evidence from any

third-party researchers to really say that it's any different from sucrose.

Taste-wise, I don't really detect much difference.

It's really dark and there is published data that it has antioxidants that

refined sugars lack, but so too does molasses, honey, raw sugars..
