Guest guest
I have a weird question: I'm reading on here that MA's can cause painful periods (which I've always had long, painful ones when not on the pill). I am diag. BU but think it could be SU and waiting for my preconception consult to find out. So I'm thinking, if it causes more intense, crampy periods, could it also cause more intense, um, well, could it help you out when you're Oing? ( and I don't mean ovulating here). Has anyone who has had their septums removed or any type of corrective surgery noticed a change when it comes to sex? After the initial healing period, was it painful in any long term way or less pleasurable? I don't mean to be too personal. But waiting 3+ months for the consult is giving me way too much time to come up with these thoughts and questions. Any input is appreciated. I always have had very painful periods - the first day was always hell, I had such intense cramping pain in my pelvic area that I would have one sleepless night. I always thought this was just how everyone experienced cramps. Since my septum resection surgery in Jan/02, the cramps are GONE! I still get a minor cramping feeling, but it is a 100 times less intense. <<So I'm thinking, if it causes more intense, crampy >periods, could it also cause more intense, um, well, could it help you out >when you're Oing? After the initial healing period, was it painful in >any long term way or less pleasurable?>. Up until last month, I was honestly feeling that sex was not feeling as good as it was prior to surgery. Orgasms were less intense and I felt swollen in the vaginal area. But that seems to have passed, and all is well now - good thing! I think that the surgery, although minor, is still invasive and the body can lose some sensitivity through the healing period. But, I stress that for me that has passed, so it is not long-term. I think this is a normal question...after all, we're talking about surgery to a very sensitive an significant part of our bodies! 29, SU resected ,bicollis, 2 m/c, ttc _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

Before I had surgery, having sex was very painful to me....it felt that there was a mass being bumped with every thrust....it totally interfered with our sex life. After surgery, I swear that it somehow felt " roomier " which doesn't make too much sense, but it is a lot less painful now, and I can enjoy the intimacy now more than before. I wish you luck at your appointment! I had a complete septum resected and noticed no immediate or long-term pain, nor any change in intensity or any kind of sensation.
