Guest guest
Well, I'm 48......I had my daughter when I was 17, and she had her daughter when she was 17. That would be Natasha. I was a 34 year old NATURAL grandmother. It has been a wonderful experience, though. I was young enough to really enjoy my grandkids. Natasha is a beautiful class president, cheerleader, A honor roll student. Super popular and possesses so much integrity! Our lives are very enriched by her. J.C. is 7 and is a typical boy. ALL boy, but he is the sweetest boy I've ever known. Even his teacher says that he is the kindest child she has ever met. He has lots of friends and does well in school. After my daughter was born, I worked as a waitress all day and finished high school every night Mon-Fri in night school. We didn't know about G.E.D. then. I couldn't sleep during the week - because if I did I would have no time with my daughter. I slept on weekends when she slept. Then after I finished high school I worked all day and went to IBM business school at night. It was a long haul, but worth it in the end. I was crushed when she was 17 and I realized she was pregnant. But I helped her the whole way. That will be 14 years ago in January. Seems like yesterday. We've done our best to try and show Natasha how life can be so different for her then it was for us. I think we may have succeeded.
