Guest guest
Yes once the T4 is lowered enough that we are no longer getting conversion from it, rasing T3 can be odne very quickly as the effects are felt RIGHT AWAY with no delayed reactions which happen with T4 in our system. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
I used to worry about the calcitonin which Armou r does contain and T3 does not, but recently I read a study that sid it si made in many parts of the body, mpot JUST the thyroid so we are nto devoid of it wiht a fully supressed thyrod from T3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val, The last time I had my bloodwork done (about 6 months ago), here are the numbers: TSH - 0.009 Free T4 - 1.32 T3 Uptake - 36 Free T3 - 5 RT3 - 31 It seems the TSH was already way down. Does this make any sense? I can't imagine where TSH might be now since I've been doing the T3 for 3 months. Thanks, > > Yes once the T4 is lowered enough that we are no longer getting > conversion from it, rasing T3 can be odne very quickly as the effects > are felt RIGHT AWAY with no delayed reactions which happen with T4 in > our system. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
TSH - 0.009 Free T4 - 1.32 T3 Uptake - 36 Free T3 - 5 RT3 - 31 Your TSH is supressed becaue your bodysi not able to use thyroid hormones correctkly, Do you have low ferritin? As your T4 is not elevated I woukld say eith e low or high cortilosl or low ferritn is causing this issue.Usually low ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
I am taking 315mg a day (it's not actually "Armour" here in Australia, I'm just calling it that as it's easier to type in than dessicated thyroid product!). I take 180mg before breakfast and another 135 before lunch. I have absolutely NO hyper symptoms - resting heart rate is always normal, temps are normal, heart doesn't do that skip thing. Guest guest
If anything, my cortisol is probably more on the low side but not as bad as a year ago. On the saliva test a year ago, I was at a " 7 " . About 4-5 months ago I had gotten up to about a " 4 " after taking about 20 mg HC during that time. I went off it completely for two weeks before getting that re-test. I am awaiting the results of my latest test but I would say it is probably still around a " 3 " or " 4 " overall. I really don't think I would have too much cortisol. Regarding the ferritin, about 5 months ago it was around 38. It had come up from 28 in about two months. I continued to take the heme iron for another few months and figured it probably came up to at least 50 or more so I quit taking the iron because I knew I wouldn't be getting another blood test for a few months and I was really afraid that if my ferritin went too high that I then couldn't get it down without giving blood (at least what I read a few places), and knew I couldn't do that. So, out of fear I quit taking the iron. Maybe that is the problem. I really need to get a blood test done -- hopefully next week to check out the level. Val, do you know if there are any problems associated with taking T3 when one's body can't use thyroid hormones correctly, as I have apparently done, other than wasting one's money? Am I messing up my body? > > TSH - 0.009 > Free T4 - 1.32 > T3 Uptake - 36 > Free T3 - 5 > RT3 - 31 > > Your TSH is supressed becaue your bodysi not able to use thyroid hormones correctkly, Do you have low ferritin? Guest guest
Interesting. That goes against everything is written about Rt3 and how to get rid of it. I will be very interested to hear what you next Rt3 test say. Venizia > > > > My RT3 was very high two months ago. I was on the so-called *wonder drug* synthetic T4 for 24 years.
