hi its leisa..sorry to jump in. But just to be clear. The travacor has 5htp..I assume you take that early eve? The thyrptophan is for right before sleep.

and the tyrosine is only day, earlyish. same with adrecor.

For people who try thyrptophan for a week and still dont sleep..they say melatonin is fine to add, or take for a week or two and then see if the thyrptophan will knock you out.

My doc put me on Neuro Science AdreCor and TravaCor because my epinephrine and norepinephrine and serotonin was low. Serotonin was very low. I feel much stronger now but I am not sleeping good at all yet. Have been on them a week now. Leisa said to use L-tryptophan 1000mg for the serotonin and tyrosine and rhodiola for the epinephrine and norepinephrine 1000 mgs. But Travacor doesn't have that, but 5-HTP and some other stuff. Should I wait a little longer to see if it is going to work for me before I try to go just the tryptophan? Would you like a list of the ingredients on these two supplements for this problem I have? I do notice my hands, legs, back are not as sore and hurt as much as they did, but still there. I have cut back also to 22.5 mg HC which may be helping that also. Not sure if I can help...but I can give my perspective. I would get thyrptophan, they come in 500. I like the drs best brand with b6 from iherb. You can take 2, right before bed. After you do that for 3 nights, let us know how it goes. See, in some people the 5-htp can actually be stimulating.

I had a problem with the l histadine in adrecor, so I cannot comment on it. Tyrosine will do nothing harmful to you. It will help thyroid and also help raise dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine. You can get 500..and take 1 or even 2 early-ish, empty stomach.

of course see what everyone else thinks.

I dont really think you should take rhodiola with the adrecor. It would be inplace of adrecor.I was refering to your statement about not wanting to take anything your body doesnt need. I dont personally believe that we need to take histadine. That was an alternative. So, what you could do is finish up your adrecor, then take the rhodiola. I would only start with one pill(500). Then if you'd like to move to 1000. Take 500 am ,then 500 early afternoon. Rhodiola is for your adrenals and energy, stress.

Tyrosine will help to raise the dopamine and norepin, epinephrine It is also a building block for thyroid. Any health food store will have it.

Thryptophan is good altogether at 1000, without protien before bed. You are taking travacor, which has 5htp as well. If you ever run out, or for some reason stop the travacor, then you can take 1500 thryptophan until your pain goes away and you feel super happy all the time...then cut back to 1000 again

Hope your doing well, leisa

Yes you can take rhodiola with the tyrosine. Again, wait till you finish the adrecor, as its like taking the same thing..without histadine.

epinephrine and norepinephrine and serotonin was low.  Serotonin was very low.

I feel much stronger now but I am not sleeping good at all yet.  Have been on

them a week now.  Leisa said to use L-tryptophan 1000mg for the serotonin and

tyrosine and rhodiola for the epinephrine and norepinephrine 1000 mgs.  But

Travacor doesn't have that, but 5-HTP and some other stuff.  Should I wait a

little longer to see if it is going to work for me before I try to go just the

tryptophan?  Would you like a list of the ingredients on these two supplements

for this problem I have?  I do notice my hands, legs, back are not as sore and

hurt as much as they did, but still there.  I have cut back also to 22.5 mg HC

which may be helping that also.  What do you think?

If your mind is still going ,you need to make sure of your cortisol levels. Have you had them tested? If your cortisol is high at night, then phosphatylserine would be good to lower it.

Rhodiola 500, tyrosine 500, or 1000

Histadine is the amino acid that makes the histamine reaction in allergies. I have never had allergies, until I took adrecor for a week. I stopped but my symptoms didnt go away. I believe that the histadine flipped on a switch inside that just created this response. I am taking several natural supplements to stop the symptoms and also a candida cleanse.

When I spoke with the company neurorelief..they responded by saying that they hadnt "heard" of that problem. I feel that the addition of histadine in the adrecor product is pretty thoughtless, and am pretty sure that others have also had my experience.

If you do decide to stop the product, I encourage you to call the company and ask for a refund! I did, and they need to know this is happening.

Im guessing that your doc will will be perfectly fine with the rhodiola and tyrosine, as they are already in what your taking.
