Guest guest
I'd like to know if there is someone here who could explain to me what the RT3 test result, a single number that is concentration usually given in pg/ml or pg/dL, means. When T3 is tested, the results are in terms of FT3 (free T3, unbound and ready for action) and TT3 (total T3, both unbound, and bound to globulin). What about RT3? Does it bind to globulin just like T3? If that is the case, why don't labs report FRT3 and TRT3?
