Guest guest Posted January 3, 2001 Report Share Posted January 3, 2001 Hi Gang! Just a note to check in, I've done pretty well. Started on Monday at 133, down to 130 this morning and in ketosis. Monday and Tuesday weren't as difficult as I thought. Today (3rd day) hasn't been nearly as rough as it was 14 months ago, but I have been hurting today, almost like the fibromyalgia is acting up, but I'm sure it's just the detox. effect. (Could also be that it my TOM.......maybe the woosh fairy will follow mother nature!) I'm not really craving carbs per se, just HUNGRY! I did not eat enough for lunch, just a bowl of the beef/pepperoni soup that I posted a few days ago. I should have had something else with it. I've cooked a steak with broccoli and cauliflower for dinner. Yummy! Finishing my 3rd liter of water, always striving for 4, usually only getting in 3.5. I really think the water is key for me losing as well as maintaining. I physically NEED 2 liters a day to keep the fibro under control, which is right in line with the recommendation of 1/2 your weight (in oz) plus 1 cup. Water is so important!! Drink up!
