Guest guest
You need to check other things to sort this out. BP? Pulse? Temps? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Hi Val,I'm doing better this morning. I wound down and ended up falling asleep last night.I just checked blood pressure, at the moment it is 125/64, pulse 72 but I will check if/when I get wired again. Is that what you mean, to check BP and pulse at the time of the symptoms? My temps have already shot up almost immediately once I started T3. They hovered at 97.8 for a long time on only HC. On day 2 of T3 it went to 98.0 and yesterday day 3 went to 98.2. I didn't know they could go up so quickly. I won't have my latest ferritin results until next week. I've been taking a lot of iron supplements, red meat and any other iron rich foods I could. I thought if my ferretin isn't quite optimal yet then maybe only 5mcg T3 would still be ok. I hope it is. Guest guest
The rising temps is a good sign! This means the T3 is getting to the cells and helping you. but yes, when you get symptoms it helps to take BP and pulse to help sort out the cause. Your Diastolic is still very low, and that often runs with low aldosterone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
Val,I'm so excited. Even though I still have to work out details, I really feel like I'm finally on the right track for getting my health in order. I was thinking of cutting down my noon dose to 2.5mcg instead of 5, maybe I won't get as wired? Elyse The rising temps is a good sign! Guest guest
OK, do you think stick with 5mcg at 6am, then go to 2.5 at noon? Or do you mean break it up and take it more often through the day like I do with HC? I take HC every 2 hours. yes you may need to split the doses even moe to better tolerate it. Guest guest
Yes if you can split the T3 odse even more it will help your body tolerate it better. 4 doses a day would be better than 2 by far. I think this is sometime sneeded especially whne you have trouble raising Ferritin due to low T3 an can;t raise T3 due ot low ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
It's probably better for you to dose it that way too anyway. I started out taking T3 at 6am and at noon. Do you think I should take 2.5 at 6am, 8am, 10am and noon? Those are all times I take HC as well, but I also take more HC doses into the afternoon.
