Question Val: T3 dosing

Hi, Val,I'm working on my RT3, only at 25 mcg daily so far, but completely dropped the Synthroid now. Will go to 15 mcg T3 twice per day tomorrow. Also working on getting my Ferritin levels up. My worst symptom is the fluid and swelling, though it is not as bad as 3 weeks ago. I feel as though I'm going to pop sometimes! Especially my eyelids and abdomen. (I also take .1 mg of Florinef and feel that I'm at the right dose for that.)Question: I notice that Dr. says you should take the T3 exactly 12 hours apart. I have always taken my T3 at 9 am and at 3 pm, 5 hours after am dose, at the suggestion of my Doc. Should I be taking it 12 hours apart? What are your thoughts on the timing of the dosing?Thank you! ------------------------------------

is talking abou his own kind of SRT3. With regualr t3 which most

of us use, I htink dosing smaller more often is easier on the adrenals.

I never felt even until i went to 4 times a day dosing, susually wiht my

HC.

Ok, I see. So should I just split the T3 that I'm taking into 4

doses, or should they be graduated like with the HC. My HC is dosed

starting at 9 am, then every 3-4 hours as follows:

9-10 am 10 mg

1-2 pm 10 mg

4-5 pm 7.5 mg

7-8 pm 5 mg

11-12 mid 5 mg

Thank you, Val,
