I love the pix of Noelbaby doing a headstand! Its neat that you could see

it move - must be very reassuring.

Yuck to the bleeding and infection - you would think your body would know

better than to dish out any added grief right now; as if you don't have

plenty on your mind these days!

Will you get started on a rotating basis of sorts; alternating between the

peri and ob so that you are seen by someone every two weeks like Tara

was? Will you have to travel to see the peri? And who will do the

cerclage? Sorry to ask 20 questions, but inquiring minds want to know!

Glad everything is looking good!

The photo looks great! How much residual septum do you have now? Is it located

on your fundus, too? I think mine is .5 cm or a bit less on the fundus. I was

told that my baby is implanted near the fundus and hope the septum will not

affect it, too.

I was also tested for bacterial infection twice becuz I had some odor and

itching in earlier weeks but got negative on both tests. It s probably due to

hormonal changes.

When do you plan to stop taking progesterone suppositories? I think my dr.

suggests me to stop after 12 weeks although I would prefer to continue until

after 13 weeks. (Ive been taking 400 mg per day since week 5)

May I ask what your reasons are for going to see a peri? Did your ob/gyn

recommend a peri? My ob/gyn didn't say anything about a peri but I did ask my RE

who did resect my septum and he said it s up to me whether I wanted to see him

for monitoring during the first few months but he thought it was not necessary

probably becuz my residual septum is considered neglible.

My next OB visit is on June 6th at nearly 13 weeks and will let u know how it

goes.

Hang in there!

Yea Beth!!

Your " teddy graham " looks great. On his head and all! I can not

believe you are 10 weeks already.

It is amazing how much you can see in the US. It was so moving to

see my last angel moving around in there.

I know you will get some good answers from the Peri. The nuchal

translucency test is also quite miraculous. How can you measure

something so small in such detail... technology is amazing!

Good luck. Lots of happy thoughts coming your way!

My OB, I think.

Thanks for asking. RIght now I am wondering if the pregnancy will

occupy the right side of my uterus . . . I may have that adhesion in

the lower segment . . . so I am worried. Hope the peri has an answer

for me.

Hi Angie,

That scan measures the thickness of the clear part of the back of the

neck in a young fetus (10-16 weeks). It is considered a marker for

Down syndrome and some other stuff.

I wanted to know if anything was grossly wrong with the baby before

having a cerclage put in. My DH wants to know about Down, too, as I

am 37. But Mainly I want to get to know this guy and pepper him with

questions. :-)

What a stress this bleeding has become for you and DH. I'm sorry it

is still plaguing you, but relieved to hear the great news about your

appt. Your little squirt is quite animated. It must be such a

relief to see him move about...remember that image when you need a

little pick-me-up.

Yeah about the sidewall...I saw it in the u/s and it looks like s/he

is anchored in a good spot. Wish it could be easier not to worry

about the bleeding, but I know that you will keep you eye on it and

see the dr. ASAP if it changes.

Way to go Beth (doing a happy empowerment jig) ;-)

I wish I could have your kind of gumption at my appts. I'm glad that

you will get what you need. Your closest MFM dr. is 100 miles

away?! I'm so sorry you have to travel that far! Where do you have

to go? Wausau?

Thanks for sharing your pix.

Thank you, Sara. This guy is in Marshfield. Thank goodness they

made US 29 into a 4-lane . . . I used to take patients To Marshfield

in the ambulance and it was hairy 2-lane all the way.
