Guest guest
Val, I also need to ask you a question regarding the source list. I ordered some T3 from the list and received it this past week. I began taking the meds this past Friday in place of my compounded T3. I immediately felt so bad all weekend long and my back pain was so severe that I could not walk. It was as if the medication was weak or something. I right away went back to my SRT3 and I am just now getting back to what I call normal. Is it possible that some of the sources are just very weak?? I purchased 25mcg of Liothyronine. That's what the med packaging says and it appears to have come from Hellas. Would you know if this source is alright or if they are known to have a weaker med? I'm afraid to try it again. I was in back shape. I also purchased quite a bit to last a couple of months. Please let me know what you think. Subject: ? about HCTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2009, 9:21 AM Hi Val,I had a question ragarding my HC dose. I am currently taking 87.5mcg SRT3. I have been taking 10/10/5/5 of HC and sometimes a small dose at bedtime. My temps have steadily come up over the past couple of weeks and seem to still be steady. In the past couple of days I have noticed that everytime I take my HC dose my hearts starts to race. Could this be a sign that I am on too much HC now?? That I might need to taper down a bit. If so, how should I taper my current dose down? I am still feeling just awful. Having horrible back, feet, neck and leg pain since I have come off of the T4 completely. I guess this just the process of elimination? ? Any suggestions.Thank You,

Guest guest
As you clear out RT3 adrenal stress lowers immensely! So ti is very opossible you have less need for HC now. The pain sympotms are worrisome however, and would poitn ot a need to raise T3 FIRST before lowering HC. SRT3 can be very weak so it is quite possible you are on too low a dose still. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
Ok, I have always felt that I have needed more of the T3. With this pain, my hair is falling out and my weight gain I had a feeling that I needed more. If I currently take 87.5, do you suggest I take it up to 100 for a few days? Do you think I should continue to take it up a notch every 5 days or so from there or just hold at the 100? Also, how would you suggest I split the dose? Like maybe a 50am/50pm type of dosing since it is slow release?? or do you have another suggestion? Guest guest
I woudl take ti to 100mcg in a 50/50 am/pm split. Hold for two weeks and if temps are not normal increase again. Some folks DO need more tha this! Dr Lowe takes 150mcg a day and has for many years. And that is regular T3 whihcis more potent in many cases. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
