Guest guest Posted May 22, 2002 Report Share Posted May 22, 2002 Hi Ladies, I did not join in on the previous messages about the third nipple stories because I did not think I had one. However, I had noticed this flabby thing just to the right of my right breast in my armpit area. It has become bigger over the last year so my ObGyn referred me to a breast surgeon. And guess what? It is considered a third breast! Apparently it has " grown " over the last few years due to the pregnancy hormones. The surgeon said if I had ever carried to nine months it would have doubled in size! Yikes! Needless to say - I will be having it removed prior to ttc. He also told me it is no way connected to my MA. It forms at approximately the same time as the mullerian ducts..but he says the two are not related. Only 1-2% of the population even has it.
