Guest guest
Would I be correct to assume that there is a high risk of bleeding or hemorrhage in someone taking 1000 mg fish oil + 800 IU vitamin E + 30 mg aspirin daily? A physician is suggesting 800 IU vitamin E based on a Spectracell micronutrient test that says the patient is deficient (and of which I am skeptical). My understanding is vitamin E doses > 400 IU per day should be avoided anyway as there is no benefit and this amount may be harmful.
