I've taught children in some of the roughest schools in NY, and I will

remember that for them - I think they'd like to hear it, too. They definitely

have a different idea of being brave for the most part, which they learn from

their neighborhood lives. Your definition is much more productive and

accurate. :)

I haven't heard back from the RE yet, but I will let them know about my

concerns before I have any exams. It will be hard for me, but I'm going to

try really hard not to freak out. After all, they're professionals, not some

grubby guys in an alleyway. I'm going to try to remind myself to see the

difference.
