As part of the pre- Silver Jubilee preparations, INSA INDIA announces that

registrations are open for the following Workshop Series related to our

experiences in HIV and AIDS Prevention care and support, to be held in

Bangalore:

1.5th-6th Sept., 2006

9am-4pm. Workshop on Human Sexuality and HIV/AIDS

This workshop will enable participants to dialogue comfortably on

sexuality and HIV/AIDS. Participants will examine deeply areas related to

sexuality, relationship with rights and gender. Basic integration withHIV/AIDS

prevention programs will be included in the workshop.

Rs 1000/- participant. INSA India will provide training materials, teas and

lunch.

This is a non-residential program. However, if requested before 15th

July 2006, arrangements for stay can be made at your cost.

2. 9th-10th October 2006

9am-4pm. Developing Youth Centred HIV/AIDS Prevention care and support programs.

This workshop will enable participants to strengthen HIV/AIDS

prevention care and support programs through formal and non-formal

educational settings. Methods that work with young people, in promoting

adolescent health and building life-skills will be included.

Participants of this workshop will receive the INSA India publication

EXPERIENCING OPTIONS

Rs 1000/- participant. INSA India will provide training materials, teas and

lunch.

This is a non-residential program. However, if requested before 15th

August 2006, arrangements for stay can be made at your cost.

3. 9th-10th November 2006

9am -4pm Community Based HIV/AIDS Care and support

With HIV infection moving into rural India, there is an urgent need for

community-based organisations to strengthen care and support programs. The

workshop will cover technical aspects of organizing communities, counseling,

home-based care, resource networking and ART.

Rs 1000/- participant. INSA India will provide training materials, teas and

lunch.

This is a non-residential program. However, if requested before 15th

Sept. 2006, arrangements for stay can be made at your cost.

A BRIEF ON INSA INDIA

As a trainer organization, established in Bangalore in 1982, INSA

India is committed to catalyzing processes for enabling optimum health of

communities through training and follow-up opportunities for all levels of staff

working in registered organizations addressing health and development issues. As

a result of training, creditable health and development programmes have been

established in remote, rural and urban areas of India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

These capacity building opportunities are offered at subsidized costs to enable

greater reach.

Those interested can send their registration fees and application forms to INSA

India, by email , and DD {on Bangalore addressed to " Program Director-INSA

India " } as soon as possible. On their receipt, they will be considered for the

selection process.

Selections are made on first come first serve basis and limited to 30 per

workshop.
