Guest guest Posted January 8, 2001 Report Share Posted January 8, 2001 here is the original recipe for Buffalo Wings as originated in Anchor Bar, the "inventor" of buffalo wings...this is for about 30 "wingettes"4 oz. tabasco sauce1/2 cup butter or margarine1 tbsp. white vinegar1/8 tsp. celery seed1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1/8 tsp garlic saltdash of black pepper1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauceMix all ingerdients is a small saucepan over low heat until butter is melted, stirring occasionally.The WingsSeperate the wings into wingettes, discarding the tips. fry at 375 degrees using vegetable or peanut oil. drain the wings and place in a bowl. pour the sauce over and shake to cover.
